Abstract :
It is shown that the amplitude of the Dq∗+ → Dq+γ decay is of order O(m0qMc), where m0q and Mc are the masses of current q- and c-quarks, respectively, such as q = d or s. The computation of the decay amplitudes is performed within heavy quark effective theory (HQET) and chiral perturbation theory at the quark level (CHPT)q, based on the extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with linear realization of chiral U(3) × U(3) symmetry. The total width of the Ds∗+-meson is predicted: Γ(Ds∗+ → all) ⋍ 8 eV.
