Vector leptoquark pair production in e+e− annihilation

Quasi-real Compton scattering, previously used in e+e− and ep collisions for luminosity measurements and detector calibration at PEP and HERA, is discussed for the energy range available at the ω-factory DAϱFNE, which is under construction. We show that the very high rate expected at DAϱFNE makes this process particularly convenient for a continuous calibration of the KLOE detector over the full angular range, directly from the data.
