Minimal energy solutions have been found under variation of the direction of the rotational vector with respect to the principal axes of a triaxial harmonic oscillator potential. It turns out that only shapes that are without rotation genuinely triaxial but near oblate, can give rise to lower minima for tilted rotations within a specified window of the rotational frequency.
