Abstract :
We generalize the evaluation of the Casimir mass in a λΦ4 theory in D dimensions taking into account thermal effects. Some peculiar results for odd D are discussed, namely, the self-energy dependence on scale, and the mass counterterm dependence on the distance between the plates.
