Quantum number exotic hybrid mesons and large Nc QCD

Exotic mesons with quantum numbers of a hybrid (qqg) such as JPC=1−+are shown to exist as narrow resonant states in the large Nc limit of QCD. The width of these states is proportional to 1/Nc. Possible phenomenological implications for the world of Nc=3 are discussed.
