Technical and Economical evaluation of oil analysis in sugarcane harvest machines of sugarcane companies in Khuzestan Province

ABSTRACT: Using and applying best method of maintenance and repairing in agricultural machinery, especially in harvest machines will lead to time saving in harvesting operations, reduce maintenance costs and consumables such as oil will. So sampling from engine oil and performing certain tests and determination of how much pollutants are existed in the oil could help to evaluate oil condition. This study was conducted in order to evaluate the status of sugar cane harvesting machines with emphasis on oil analysis in three major sugarcane of Khuzestan province. Information and statistics were gathered from 2006 till 2011 from Imam Khomeini, Farabi and Debalkhzay companies. Data of experiment were oil consumption and the status of active devices and their motor repair, and oil prices in the functioning of companies respectively and with respect to the starting time of oil analysis program that was started from 2008. The results of this study showed that using oil analysis method could decrease oil consumption and save 52278 liters of oil also has a significant impact.
