Abstract :
Using data collected by the Fermilab experiment FOCUS, we measure the lifetime of the charmed baryon Ξco using the decay channels Ξco→Ξ−π+ and Ξco→Ω−K+. From a combined sample of 110±17 events we find τ(Ξco)=118+14−12±5 fs, where the first and second errors are statistical and systematic, respectively.
