Abstract :
We consider the second-order advanced functional difference equation Δ(a(n)Δχ(n)) + p(n)χ(g(n)) = 0, where a(n) > 0, ∑∞s=n0 (1/a(s)) = ∞, p(n) ≥ 0, p(n) ≡ 0, g(n) ≥ n + 1, {g(n)} is a monotone increasing integer sequence. We obtain some new oscillation criteria through an appropriate Riccati equation.
