A discrete analogue of an integrodifferential equation

A discrete version of the integrodifferential equation is formulated. It is shown that the discrete equation has a globally asymptotically stable positive equilibrium under the same conditions with which the positive equilibrium of the integrodifferential equation is globally asymptotically stable. The integrodifferential equation has applications in population dynamics.
