A new result on the p-irreducibility of binding polynomials

Binding polynomials and p-irreducibility are important concepts in biochemistry. In this paper, we study the p-irreducibility of binding polynomials with degree four and present, for the first time, an explicit criterion for p-irreducibility, which is expressed by polynomials in the coefficients of a given binding polynomial.
