Exact solution for nonlinear Schrödinger equation by Heʹs frequency formulation

In this work, we apply Heʹs frequency formulation to search for the solution to nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Three examples are given and the solutions obtained are in good accordance with Wazwazʹs solution [Abdul-Majid Wazwaz, A study on linear and nonlinear Schrodinger equations by the variational iteration method, Chaos Solitons Fractals 37 (4) (2008) 1136 1142]. It is shown that Heʹs frequency formulation is of utter straightforward and effective.
