Abstract :
This paper is a contribution to the basic philosophy of the stochasticity-chaos relation, inasmuch as chaos means unpredictability of the evolution, and any stochastic noise, in turn, means random vibrations, that is, another unpredictability. So it is reasonable to seek relations between the key parameters at the onset of chaos for the ‘pure’ system, and the corresponding mean values in the stochastic environment. In other words, the question arises at to whether chaos is ‘likely to be expected’. Furthermore, some new ideas related to fuzzy set theory are discussed.
