Abstract
In this paper, we present some conventional feedback controller design principles for chaos control, with mathematical controllability conditions derived via the Lyapunov function methods. The chaotic Chuaʹs circuit and Duffing oscillator are used as examples to illustrate the fundamental concepts and basic methodology employed by this unified Lyapunov approach, in both linear and non-linear controllers design, for the control of chaotic dynamics.
