An efficient zero-one formulation of the cell formation problem

This paper presents a new zero-one integer linear programming formulation of the machine cell formation problem for a cellular manufacturing environment. This formulation has a lean structure and is demonstrated to provide optimal solutions that require much less solution time than the previously published formulation.
