Plant layout selection process for the fifth-generation Corvette

The GM Corvette Assembly Plant is striving to achieve an even greater degree of efficiency and quality. One way to accomplish this is by designing a better flow and layout for the repair process. An analytical method that can be applied to choose the best-suited layout is the Tradeoff Selection Process. This paper describes how the Tradeoff Selection Process was practiced in the plant to develop a layout for the Fifth-generation Corvette.
