Cellular manufacturing & the concept of total quality

The purpose of this project is to outline a clear and concise process associated with the development of cellular production systems for the manufacture of shock absorbers. This process will utilize lean manufacturing techniques including: Just-In-Time, product-oriented layouts featuring “U” or “L” shaped configurations and single piece part flow based on the concept of takt time.
