Abstract :
This paperpresentsaproceduretosolvetheconvexorderedmedianproblemwherethedistancesare
measured with p-norms. Inordertodothat,weconsideranapproximatedproblemanddevelopan
algorithm basedonagradientdescentmethodthatgeneratesasequencewithdecreasingobjectivevalue.
We proveitsconvergencetotheoptimalsolutionoftheapproximatedproblem.Thepaperendswith
some computationalresultsoftheproposedmethodology.
