Abstract
We proposeanonlinearmathematicalmodeltoconsiderproductionschedulingandvehiclerouting
with timewindowsforperishablefoodproductsinthesameframework.Thedemandsatretailersare
assumed stochasticandperishablegoodswilldeteriorateoncetheywereproduced.Thustherevenueof
the supplierisuncertainanddependsonthevalueandthetransactionquantityofperishableproducts
when theyarecarriedtoretailers.Theobjectiveofthismodelistomaximizetheexpectedtotalprofitof
the supplier.Theoptimalproductionquantities,thetimetostartproducingandthevehicleroutescan
be determinedinthemodelsimultaneously.Furthermore,weelaborateasolutionalgorithmcomposed
of theconstrainedNelder–Meadmethodandaheuristicforthevehicleroutingwithtimewindowsto
solve thecomplexproblem.Computationalresultsindicateouralgorithmiseffectiveandefficient.
