Abstract
The problemofamulti-periodsupplierselectionandorderallocationinmake-to-orderenvironmentin
the presenceofsupplychaindisruptionanddelayrisksisconsidered.Givenasetofcustomerordersfor
finishedproducts,thedecisionmakerneedstodecidefromwhichsupplierandwhentopurchase
product-specificpartsrequiredforeachcustomerordertomeetcustomerrequestedduedateatalow
cost andtomitigatetheimpactofsupplychainrisks.Theselectionofsuppliersandtheallocationof
orders overtimeisbasedonpriceandqualityofpurchasedpartsandreliabilityofsupplies.For
selectionofdynamicsupplyportfolioamixedintegerprogrammingapproachisproposedto
incorporateriskthatusesconditionalvalue-at-riskviascenarioanalysis.Inthescenarioanalysis,the
low-probabilityandhigh-impactsupplydisruptionsarecombinedwiththehighprobabilityandlow
impact supplydelays.Theproposedapproachiscapableofoptimizingthedynamicsupplyportfolioby
calculatingvalue-at-riskofcostperpartandminimizingexpectedworst-casecostperpart
simultaneously.Numericalexamplesarepresentedandsomecomputationalresultsarereported.
