  • Abstract
    We establish the existence of entropy solutions for a bipolar hydrodynamic model for semiconductors. We show also that the limit, as the relaxation time goes to zero, of an appropriate scaled.sequence of entropy solutions is a solution of the classical drift-diffusion equations
