Local Controllability at Critical Points and Generic Systems in 3-Space

Local controllability of generic Ck triplets of vector fields in a three dimensional connected manifold M is studied at a critical point of one of them; the results obtained are used to determine local controllability for affine control systems at non-relative equilibrium points or with one-sided controls. It is also proved that the proposed geometric approach is valid for generic affine systems.
