The Cesàro maximal operator in dimension greater than one

We consider a maximal operator defined on Rn which is related to the Cesàro α continuity of functions. We characterize the weights w for which the maximal operator is of weak type, strong type and restricted weak type (p,p) with respect to the measure w(x) dx.  2003 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved
