Blow-up of solutions to the Cauchy problem in nonlinear one-dimensional thermoelasticity

This paper is concerned with the blow-up phenomena of solutions to the Cauchy problem in nonautonomous nonlinear one-dimensional thermoelastic models obeying both Fourier’s law of heat flux and the theory due to Gurtin and Pipkin.
