For 1 k n 1, positive solutions are obtained for the boundary value problem Ž 1.Žn k.yŽn. fŽx, y., x Ž0, 1. yŽ i.Ž0. 0, 0 i k 1, yŽ j.Ž1. 0, 0 j n k 1, where fŽx, y. M, and M is a positive constant. We show the existence of positive solutions by using a fixed point theorem in cones.
