Growing-Up Positive Solutions of Semilinear Elliptic Boundary Value Problems

This paper is devoted to the study of the existence, uniqueness, and asymptotic behavior of positive solutions of a class of degenerate boundary value problems for semilinear second-order elliptic differential operators which originates from the so-called Yamabe problem in Riemannian geometry. Our approach is based on the super-sub-solution method adapted to the degenerate case.
