Lie Group Analysis of Some New Types of Integrable Differential Equations

New integrability conditions for linear and nonlinear second order ordinary differential equations are obtained by means of Lie′s group analysis method. Our results generalise many known results proved by other authors. Some hitherto unknown integrable second order differential equations are also derived from the results obtained.
