Abstract :
Let 0 < p ≤ q ≤ ∞, 1 − 1/p + 1/q ≥ 0. We examine how large the Lp norm on [−1, 1] of the derivative of a real algebraic polynomial of degree at most n with zeros only in [−1, 1] can be if the Lp norm of the polynomial is 1. It is a continuation of the author′s research (J. Approx. Theory68, 1992, 45-48).
