The Semiconductor System with Temperature Effect

In this paper we study the semiconductor system with temperature effect. The electric conductivity in the system is assumed to be temperature-dependent. By taking the Joule heating produced by the current flow into consideration, we obtain a strongly coupled elliptic-parabolic system. The existence of a weak solution is proved by using a compactness argument. Regularity of the weak solution is also investigated.
