Abstract :
ABSTRACT: Various reasons have are important in estimating spatial distribution of soil erosion in the landscape. For example it is controlled by multifarious of different parameters, such asslope, soil physical properties (texture, structure, permeability, etc.), rainfall, runoff, andcrop cover. However, developing a precise mathematical model for predicting the values of land surface soil erosion due to the behavior of controlledparameters is difficult. The study basically aimed to spatially model soil loss and to provide guidance to land developers for reducing land degradation problem. This paper presents a new approach based on the Neural Networks Model for assessing land surfacesoil erosion as amass per unit area per unit of time. The model derives from the analysisdata obtained from available literature and was formulated as linear regression model andback propagation algorithm neural model.
