Abstract :
Priming exercise due to increase seed germination percentage and speed, especially in dry areas of the seed germination problems encountered is lack of soil moisture, is important. Effects osmopriming on seed germination of lentils (ILL6199) in a factorial experiment in completely randomized design in three replicates at college of agriculture laboratory of Qaemshahr Islamic Azad University was executed in 2010. Factors tested polyethylene glycol (PEG) with concentrations of 5 and 10 percent potassium nitrate (KNO3) with concentrations of 1 and 2 percent, Coloryd potasyom (KCl) with concentrations of 2 and 4 percent, and duration of 4, 8 and 12 hours were . The results showed that the maximum length of root and shoot under PEG 5 percent was achieved in 4 hours, but the highest ratio of root length to shoot what R/S and dry weight (R/S) the making by the Prime with PEG and KNO3 concentrations of 5, 10 and 2 percent in the period by 12 and 8 hours was observed. Highest germination rate with the Prime make PEG 5 percent was achieved.
