Investigation and evaluation of Spiritual Intelligence: A Demographic Approach

Spiritual intelligence is one of the important traits of human which the human with the help of it search for finding the meaning of existence ultimatum, meaning of life and its relationship with transcendent God. Because of the effect of it, in all aspect of the life, spiritual intelligence study and analyze of spiritual intelligence is necessary for recognition and improvement. However, the purpose of this research is study of spiritual intelligence in 4 dimensions, critical existential thinking, personal meaning production, transcendental Awareness and consciousness State Expansion. The statistic population is made up of Medical sciences. Data were collected using Kingʹs spiritual intelligence questionnaire. To test the hypothesizes, student t-tests, ANOVA and Pearson?s correlation test has been imposed with using structural equation modeling and based on the collected data, the model presented, which is validated and has been confirmed. The results show that students of Shiraz medical Sciences University have high degree of spiritual intelligence but the demographic variables (general, marriage age group …) have no significant effect on spiritual intelligence.
