  • Abstract
    VariouskindsofexperimentsontheoxidationofZircaloy-4claddingmaterialindifferentscalesandunderdifferentconditionsattemperatures800–1300°C(smallscale)andupto2000°C(largescale)arepresented.Thefocusofthisworkwasonprototypicmixedair–steamatmospheresandsequentialreactioninsteamandair,wherenodatawereavailablebefore.Theseparate-effectstestswereperformedtosupportthelargescalebundletestQUENCH-10andtodeliverfirstdataformodeldevelopment.
