Abstract :
Anewconceptofanin-vesselcoriummeltcatcherisproposed.Thelowerpartofanelongatedreactorvessel,whichisfilledwithasacrificialmaterialofapropercomposition,porosity,andarrangement,isusedassuchacatcher.Theconceptaccountsofthescientificanddesignexperiencewiththedevelopmentoftheex-vesselcoriumcatcherfortheTyan’vanNPPwithVVER-1000reactors.
