  • Abstract
    ABSTRACT: This study was indicated to evaluarethe ability ofFusariumsppcausal agents of crown rot and head blight diseases in wheat, to produced mycotoxins on wheat seeds, corn seeds, wheat straw and millet seeds cultures. Results showed that the 38 ofFusarium strain, tested were found able to produced DON, ZEN and T2-toxin. Thehigh level of DON toxin was produced on millet seeds at 49.35 and 62.9 µg/gF.graminearum CS3259 and F.pseudograminearum CS3096 respectively. T2-Toxin were produced by F.culmorum CS3175 and CS3716 strain at 15.2 and 26.37 µg/g on millet seeds respectively.F.culmorum CS3350 and F.pseudograminearum CS3096 were shown to produce high level of ZEN toxin in millet and maize seeds at 14734.9-25154.8 µg/g respectively.
