Abstract :
ABSTRACT: Strawberry is one of the most important fruits in horticulture. In this study effect of elementsnutrition was researched on this crop. Nitrogen treatments used at two levels (200 and 240 mg/l) from plant culturingstage by irrigation. Calcium used at three levels (100-200 and 300 ppm) from petal fall stage by spraying and with irrigation. Measurements factors were crown number, crown diameter, flower number, fruit yield, marketable yield, TSSand post-harvest life. Experiment performed base on completely randomized design in greenhouse in 2010.Results showed that Nitrogen effected on the inflorescence and flower number and fruit yield. Enhancing of the Calcium caused to increase the post-harvest life. Application of the Ca by spraying method had positive effects on growth of the plant. Because this element was inactive in the plant. Amount of the TSS increased with addition of the Nitrogen. The best treatments for increasing the fruit yield were seen in Nitrogen at the amount of 240mg/l and Calcium at the amount of 300 mg/l.In sever to production charges for increasing the post-harvest life was recommended N at the amount of 240mg/l and Caat the amount of 100mg/l.
