Abstract
The network equations of digital circuits derived by charge-oriented modeling often define ODE systems in integral form. To be compatible with the data structures in CAD-simulation packages, numerical integration software must be based on this structure. For this purpose, we derive extrapolation methods based on the linearly-implicit Euler scheme. These methods guarantee charge conservation. Their implementation is discussed, with special regard to parallel machines. The 8-bit counter serves as an instructive test circuit from industrial applications.
