A boundary element solution of the inhomogeneous magnetostatic problems Original Research Article

This paper describes the application of the dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRBEM) for magnetostatic field calculation using both total and reduced scalar potentials and their normal derivatives. It is assumed that all media are linear, homogeneous and isotropic with exception of a permeable region which is inhomogeneous. The domain integral which appears in final integral equation was approximated by a sum of surface integrals, and thus making the method fully boundary dependent.
