On the LBB condition in the numerical analysis of the Stokes equations Original Research Article

For channel domains and plates the LBB constant and the corresponding eigenvalue problem of the Schur complement are investigated. Estimates for the first eigenvalue and the number of small eigenvalues are given. The numerical results confirm the theory.
