Parallel half-block methods for initial value problems Original Research Article

In this paper, we deal with the numerical solutions of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Based on equidistant block methods, half-block methods for parallel computers are constructed. The stability properties of half-block methods are studied along with their predictor–corrector implementation. Numerical results are given to compare the efficiency of block methods and that of half-block methods.
