Abstract
Let LI, … Lm, be a family of affine subspaces of Rd, and let Ti denote the orthogonal projection onto Li. We give a simple proof of the following result of Aharoni et al. (1984):
For any x ϵ Rd and any {ij}j=1∞ ⊂ {1, …, m}, the sequence {Tii · · · Titx}j=1∞ is bounded.
