Abstract :
The early years of the twenty-first century that civilized human has been long expected its arrival, is not following comfort ,and challenges facing people and civilizations in these years are longer than all other era. Since economic institutions and public and private sector organizations work as economy?s moving engine, perhaps the most important question facing the nation is how can open the way for growth and organizational excellence, in a way that they win in world competition. Organizational intelligence Theory is looking for something which by using it with evaluation of organizations intelligence position, identify their Strengths and weaknesses and based on gained results provide the strategies needed to improve the performance of intelligence agencies. Organizational intelligence have defined as having a deep knowledge to all factors such as customers, competitors, economic environment, operations and organizational processes that will have a significant impact on the quality of management decisions in the organization. Organizational intelligence makes us strong to decide on all factors effecting the organizations and companies. Therefore, by doing such studies can measured Status of the organization in terms of intelligence in different dimensions and doing needed planning to remove its weaknesses. The aim of this study is to investigate the position of organizational intelligence in National Bank of Iran and providing solutions to improve the current situation. This study in terms of purpose is functional and in terms of Implementation method is descriptive research. The data collection method is fieldwork and instruments used for collection is questionnaire. Statistical population of the study includes employees of the National Bank of Iran in Tehran that after extracting the total number of employees, using a Cochran Formulation or Morgan table, the sample size was selected 400 people. To data analyzing by statistical methods such as single-sample t-test was used. The results indicate that the position of organizational intelligence in the National Bank of Iran is average and two of the seven components of organizational intelligence are lower than average level and five are average.
