Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior in experts of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of Islamic Republic of Iran. That has been done in the descriptive-correlation way and field form. Statistical population of this study were the experts of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports who were 290 people and according to Morgan table, 160 people were chosen as statistical samples. To collect data from Allen and Meyerʹs organizational commitment questionnaire (2004) was used, including 24 questions and Rudsak questionnaire (2000), including 20 questions was used to measure citizenship behavior. Validity of questionnaires was confirmed by 8 professional of Sport Management. Reliability of questionnaires was obtained by Cronbach,s alpha, which was 82% and 89%. Obtained data was tested by correlation test and SPSS-16 software. If there is a significant correlation between two variants, their causal relationship was tested using structural equation modeling and LISREL software 8.5. Results showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior(R=0.62, P?0.01). Dimensions affect of organizational commitment on citizenship behavior was tested too and the result was that emotional commitment has the most influence (P?0.01) and continual commitment has the least influence (P?0.01) on organizational citizenship behavior at experts of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of Islamic Republic of Iran.
