This article deals with the effects of pessimism in the Abu al-Qasim al-Shabi´s poetry and life as we find the phenomenon of pessimism is clearest phenomenon that appeared in his poetry while it is key element in romantic. Thus his poetry has a lot of sad contents, where his language is worn the clothes of grief. In this essay it has been tried to consider reasons of pessimism in Abu al-Qasim al-Shabiʹs poetry and reach to this conclusion that pessimism in his poetries obviously. Abu al-Qasim al-Shabiʹs poetries are the image of his pains and sadnesses in his life from his childhood. Even sometimes he is pessimist about life and world and love but these feelings are changeable in his life.
