Comparing momenta and image-electron energy of benzenoid molecules Original Research Article

Let G be a graph associated with the hexagonal system of a benzenoid hydrocarbon. Let image be the set of eigenvalues of the adjacency matrix of G and consider the momenta image for k even. We show the lower bound image for the total image-electron energy of G, where image are even integers with image. Particular cases of this bound improve the well-known McClellandʹs inequalities.
