Results of Hurwitz type for three squares Original Research Article

We prove a large number of results in which the generating function of r3(n), where r3(n) is the number of representations of n as a sum of three squares, is, when n is restricted to an arithmetic sequence, a simple infinite product. We also conjecture a large number of further results of the same sort.
