On some Kantor flocks Original Research Article

For q odd, we extend the known construction of Fisher–Thas–Walker flocks via the osculating planes to a twisted cubic (see Fisher, Thas, Math. Z. 169 (1979) 1–11) to monomial flocks, provided some restrictions on the characteristic hold. In particular, we get an alternative geometric description of Kantor flocks (Kantor, Math. Z. 192 (1986) 65–50) for p≠3.
