Commuting quasi-order relations Original Research Article

In this paper we generalize a theorem of Dubreil-Jacotin characterizing commuting equivalence relations. We define the notion of commuting quasi-order relations on a set S, and we obtain a structure theorem for pairs of commuting quasi-order relations.
