Abstract :
The synthesis of (25R)-ruscogenin-1-yl β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1→3)-[β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)]-β-d-fucopyranoside, a saponin from the tuber of Liriope muscari (Decne.) Bailey, is described.
