Abstract
This paper attempts to delineate a few key insights extracted from theoretical macroeconomic considerations of the rebound issue. The goal has been to reduce these thoughts to a clear set of assertions that, if true, would be useful points of reference in the ongoing discussion despite their non-empirical nature.
