Abstract :
A method for the evaluation of the condition of a plume and real-time control of its parameters is proposed. The method is based on probe measurements of the magnetic field generated by a laser plasma. The possibility of the utilization of electromagnetic diagnostics for effective control of the target surface condition during pulsed laser deposition is experimentally demonstrated.
